Early Signs of Autism Disorder

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is characterized by varying degrees of difficulty in social interaction and verbal and non-verbal communication, as well as the presence of repetitive behaviors and/or restricted interests.

Due to the variability and presentation of the symptoms, there are no two individuals with a diagnosis of ASD that are the same, nor is the impact on families.

We’re Serious About Applied Behavioral Analysis

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Autism Spectrum symptoms can be noticed early on in a child’s life.

It is recommended to seek a consultation from a pediatrician or child psychologist as soon as the absence of any expected development is noticed, or any concern arises. The earlier an ABA treatment begins, the greater the likelihood of long-term positive results for the individual.
